Q & A: Those Glorious 22 Minutes

Q: 22 minutes of what?
A: 22 minutes of praise and worship at the beginning

of each service.
Q: Exactly 22 minutes?
A: Well…. not exactly. 🙂 🙂
Q: You’re being somewhat cynical?
A: Somewhat. Services are so structured/mechanical.
Q: What makes the 22 minutes ‘glorious’?
A: Jesus is highly exalted. There is quality preaching

in most songs.
Q: How does that compare with the rest of the service?
A: Lord Jesus is not highly exalted.
Q: Why is that?
A: Ask the controllers.
Q: Controllers?
A: Those who set the agenda for the service.
Q: Do the controllers preach Christ?
A: Yes…. sparingly.
Q: Why sparingly?
A: We all speak the overflow of our hearts.
Q: So…. what is in their hearts?
A: A little of Christ and lots of religion.

Q: What would the service be like without those 22

minutes?
A: Half the people wouldn’t show up.
Q: Like really?
A: I really think so.
