Q: How does one support the labourer if not by a salary?
A: Paul was supported by contributions. As was Jesus.
Q: Were the twelve apostles salaried?

Q: Then how do evangelical pastors justify their salary?
A: Evangelicalism only makes sense when you realize one thing.
