Q: What false narrative?

A: Pulpit-people are spiritually superior to pew-people.

Q: Well, aren’t they?

A: Based on 46 years of observation…. no.

Q: Isn’t Pastor Whoever’s knowledge superior to most?
A: Yes.

Q: Isn’t his ability to communicate superior to most?
A: Yes.

Q: Isn’t his relationship with Jesus superior to most?

A: Based on 46 years of observation…. no.

Q: Why does everyone assume the pastor’s relationship

with Lord Jesus is superior?

A: Because of what I call pulpit power.

Q: Pulpit power? What’s that?

A: Pulpits give unwarranted prestige to pulpit-people.
Q: And this prestige spawned the false narrative?
A: It did and it does.
Q: So pew-people could love Jesus just as fervently?
A: I would rather be a pew-person when giving my

account to Jesus Christ than a pulpit-person.
Q: Like really? Why is that?

A: Pastors are the most ardent religionists in the church.

Q: And also the most influential?

A: They use their influence to promote their religion.

Q: Not good?

A: Very not good.
